Dog Food Raw Meat

Can a raw dog food diet be considered as a good food diet for my Shih Tzu? I really don't know if it helps, but some how my Shih Tzu becomes healthier and lively..

Sasha is almost 3 years old and ever since we got her at 12 weeks she has been on raw food diet. My recipe has been approved by my vet as a pretty perfect diet . I make it for 2 weeks and freeze it in daily portion bags. It has 3/4 muscle meat and 1/4 offals. 2 whole eggs with the shell for calcium, a handful of greens , 1 grated carrot and 1 grated apple. I cut the meat in small bits then whizz the other ingredients and mix with meat. She has 80 gr a day ( 1/2 in morning and 1/2 at night ) and I add a teaspoon of " My Beau" vitamin enriched oil in the evening meal. She is a very active and healthy little dog.

I am happy that I was able to help you for even just a li'l thing though..same here, my tzu never been this lively since I start feeding her a raw meet and she's now more cuter than ever..ahahaha TC and wish your tzu a more happy and lively life style. ^__________________^8

I had recently started feeding both my Tzu's a raw food diet, and in just a short time I was amazed at the difference in their appearance, as well as their energy levels, and wastes. Have been reading more about Raw and natural diets from Dr. Pitcairn's book Dr. Pitcairn's New Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs and Cats its a pretty good read so far, and very informative.
